LIBERTY — Eddie Dean Plummer, 47, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 14, 2013.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery; officiating by Rev. Dwayne Lester and Rev. Tommy Fuquay.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 7. p.m. until 9 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Plummer.

Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Tina Rea Plummer; daughter, Kayla Marie Plummer; son, Christopher Dean Plummer; mother, Shirley Clark Plummer and brother, Ricky Lee Plummer and wife Dottie.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Hospice of Randolph County, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.

Fond memories of the 'pack house' during the summertime as kids reading magazines and talking about guy stuff. I am honored to have known his as my cousin. Tina, Chris & Kayla,

I have been so inspired by your strength during this difficult period, and my prayer is that God will wrap His arms around you, pull you in close, and give you comfort and peace that only He can.

Eddie was a wonderful man who loved his God and loved his family. He faced this battle with such character, and throughout even the darkest days, his concern was for his family. He always offered a word of encouragement, even when he, himself was sick. I know he is up in heaven now, walking arm in arm with his Savior, asking Him all those questions he always said he would find out. Until we can meet again, he will be missed.
