Just had a reminder of his passing come across my computer. It encouraged me to write something if i liked...looking at his picture i thought of the fun straight faced things he would say. The world was better with him in it.

I remember Steck fondly! He could always put a smile on your face while keeping a stoic look on his face. I'll always remember him, happy to call him cousin.

We were able to spend some time with Steck & V. A. when they came to visit our mother Mildred (Mitt) Wiley Moffett here in Austin (their cousin). We were able to share in church service a few times with Rev. Maxey and church family. All of that was such a blessing to us! Over the past few years as life changes, we were not able to stay in touch. We still feel the love from one family to another. We are grateful for our time with Steck and will continue to pray for the family.

God provides rest for the weary, comfort for the grieving and broken-hearted.
He promised to never leave or forsake us, and he's true to his word. Reflect on your dad's love and sweet memories during trying days. Love on one another and let God do the rest.
