To the family of Edgar Nathaniel Lockett, Jr., M.D.

I send my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Dr. Lockett but know his time within our midst was extremely productive, kind and caring. I remember well the times in the First Baptist Church of Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and all the other programs of faith our parents shared with us. Your father was an extremely kind and gentle soul and I remember well the sharing of both your mother and father when it came to matters of the heart and faith.

I hope his passing will bring knowledge that his time on earth has now brought the rewards he so richly deserved for a life well-lived. I send prayers for comfort in the knowledge he is now at rest eternally but remains a beacon of faith, love and hope to each and every one of you. I am certain you each will retain lovely life lessons from both of your parents to be carried forth to your own decendents.
