Edison Merlon Roberts

A funeral service for Pastor Edison Merlon Roberts, age 84, of Imperial Park, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau, on Saturday, 8th August, 2015, will be held at Temple Baptist Church, Farrington Road, Nassau, on Saturday, 22nd August, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

Pastor A. Geoffrey Wood will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.

Pastor Roberts was predeceased by wife, Madge Udean Roberts; his father and mother, Merlon and Roslyn Roberts.

He is survived by his son, Larry; daughters, Udean and Ordain; grandson, Xavion Johnson; son-in-law, Paul Sattem; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Roberts; grandson-in-law, Joshua Sattem and his wife Kristine and daughter Skylar; granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Sawyer and her husband Michael; nieces, Marsha and Cheryl Lowe and Charlyne Sked and her husband Ian; great nephews, Dax Russell and his wife Georgia and daughter Jessica, John-Michael Russell and his wife Edith and daughters Samantha and Nadia and Cameron and Jonathan Sked; adopted sons, Hartley Rolle and his wife Indira and Clayton McIntosh and his wife Ruth; adopted daughter, Dianne Rahn and her husband Bobby, sons Robby and Samuel and grandson Jackson; adopted grandchildren, Leyhanessa, Leyhannah and Joshua Rolle, other relatives and friends, Roy and Ivamae Russell and family, Myrtle and Allan Bethel, Carlton and Gaylene Russell, Phil Russell, , Donald and Lucille Sands, Jack and Betty Sands, Rudy and Daisy Roberts, Junior and Laree Sands, Merriel and Carolyn Cash, Joan and Gurth Roberts, Linda and George Albury, Wade and Martha Cash, Rhoda and Sidney Rolle and family, Elder Getta and Cetellar Rolle and family, Rev. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Bahama Islands Baptist Association (for Missions) by cheque and mailed to P.O. Box N. 9426 or deposited to CIBC A/C 1076715 (Palmdale Branch).

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, on friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
