I also knew Edith from school, then watched her music and television career blossom over the next few years. We had reconnected through FaceBook and although I knew she was not well, she did not let on how bad it actually was. That was her though, always looking on the positive side of life, and wanting to make others happy before herself. She was always a beautiful woman with a peaceful soul and her smile is etched into my memory forever. Best wishes to her family, no doubt she raised you to be like her, so you should all be perfect!

There are not enough words to describe what a beautiful lady you were on this earth and will be the most wonderful angel always looking after and over your children. I was so lucky to have met you and have shared so many memories. You lit up the world as you will the heaven's. I am sure there is a new star in the sky now and forever. You touched so many and much loved by all. I will always see your smile, remember you laugh and sense of humor. Condolences to all your family and friends.
