Edith "Edie" Yanover Lake Worth - Edith (Edie) Yanover 91, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Great Neck, NY passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, at the home of her devoted granddaughters (Dee/Kasey). Edie was the loving wife of Jack to whom she was married to for 44 years before his passing in 2003. Her whole world revolved around her adoring family. She was a devoted mother to Mitchell (Laura), Lorna, Barbara and Joanne (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Lena, Joseph, Michael, Bryan, Daniel, Dorothy (Dee), Jesse, Zachary and Jeanne. Great grandmother of Orin, Kyleigh, Phillip Joseph, Benjamin, Alexander, Bryce, Jacelyn and Aaliyah.

Edie was born in Manhattan and lived in Bayside Queens during her childhood. She enjoyed her life-long career as a travel agent at Paul Berk Travel in Great Neck and Travel International in Boca Raton. Edie had a knack at making those around her feel special; whether it was a family member, friend or stranger she happened to meet on a park bench or in a checkout line. You always walked away feeling supported and cared for unconditionally. Edie's fun-loving spirit was infectious. She was always throwing parties, volunteering and overall being a friend and "partner in crime" to all.

Edie had a profound love and respect for all things in nature. This is why it is fitting that she and her late husband Jack be memorialized by the planting of a White Oak tree at the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. A place they both found profoundly peaceful.
