Edith Laugesen

EDITH LAUGESEN, 82, of Hinckley Twp. passed away Monday, Nov. 6, 2006. She was born in Syracuse, NY to Raymond and Edith Green. She married Hans on Sept. 10, 1949 and shared 57 years. Her enjoyment with life was birdwatching and love for animals, and offering her help to anyone in need. She will be missed by her sons, Kenneth (Terri) of Medina, Kristopher (Mary) of Coshocton and Karl (Kathryn) Laugesen of Hinckley; daughter, Ella (Ken) Raw of Sharon Center; brothers Robert Green of Fulton NY and special grandchildren, Joy, Rob, Heather, Brent, Jennifer, Julie, Jakob, Kaitlyn, Blake and Brandon; also her great grandchild Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Vince, Warren and Gerald, and sisters Geraldine and Margaret. The family wishes to extend Special Thanks to the loving nurses in Cancer Unit 5400 and especially to Dr. Esther Rehmus for helping her through many battles with cancer, but most of all for being a friend.
