My heart goes out to all of you, Mrs. McCartt was a very special person in my life and I was very sad to hear that she had passed. Mrs. McCartt was my 3rd grade teacher at Ophir school, and she was one of my favorite teachers. She brought alot of joy to my growing up years. I even had the priviledge to go spend the night with Mrs. McCartt a couple of times and I never will forget her huge monkey tree in her front yard.. Steve, Sam and Sandra, you were so lucky to have such a wonderful mom.. and I was so lucky to have such a wonderful, wonderful teacher. Suzy "Allen" Capps

My prayers go out to all the family. She was a really special lady. I have many fond memories of spending time with her and her family in Coquille. She will be missed. Ernestine, give Sham a carrot for me. You will be a new light in heaven.
