Mrs. Edith Ane Margrethe Pedersen Moller, 93, formerly of Acton, MA died peacefully on Dec. 21, 2014. Edith was the beloved wife of the late Borge Moller. She was born on August 29, 1921 in Karlslunde, Denmark to the late Anna Margrethe J. Jensen and Hans Thorvald Emil Pedersen. She was predeceased by her twin brother Karl Anker Pedersen of Hvidovre, Denmark. During WWII Edith and Borge served in the Danish resistance in occupied Copenhagen while they both attended the university where they met. After their marriage in 1945, Edith and Borge lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Los Angeles, Illinois and returned to Denmark before settling in Acton in 1956 to raise their family. Edith was very active in the Acton Garden Club and worked at the Suburban Manor Nursing Home. She also ran her antique linen and lace business, Soft Antiques, at the Concord Antiques Cooperative. Edith shared her joy for life through the love and caring she showed to her family and many friends. Her creativity knew no bounds. She spoke several languages and loved to travel. Edith leaves her four children: Peter and Marva Moller of Groton, MA; Jens and Heidi; Sussanne and Mark Goff of Templeton, MA; and Annette and John Estabrook of Stow, MA. A third son, Nils, predeceased her. She has five grand children and a great grand daughter. They are Nils Moller of Groton, MA; Oscar Goff and Molly Richard of Somerville, MA; Hannah Moller, Orin Aune and their daughter Violet Aune of Ayer, MA; Lucas Estabrook and Rachel Rose Estabrook of Stow, MA. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sat. Jan. 17th from 12 noon to 3:00pm at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. Edith's ashes will be interred in Denmark joining her late husband Borge. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Life Care Center of Acton.
