EDITH LEONE RICHARDS

I met Edie many years ago when I was teaching at Hance Elementary. She was my Sub and I couldn't have had a better one. All my plans had been completed, papers had been checked and notes about various children had been written. I knew who to request after that! In fact, she could have written a book on "Subbing- the Do's's and Don'ts".

Then years later, our paths crossed again at the retirement luncheons.
What a wonderful, interesting, pleasant lady! Please accept my sincere condolences- she will be missed.

Edie loved seeing and interacting with the kids at the library. She had a ready smile for them, and was a true pleasure to work with. Her presence will be sorely missed.

Loved working with Edie at our Pine Richland Elementary schools. She was a great friend to children and all of us.

I just heard about Edie. I feel so bad about your loss - the loss of a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She spoke of you so proudly. I worked with Edie for many years. I told her she was my inspiration because she was fearless about driving long distances. I think of her every time I drive to Philly! It was a pleasure working with her--and what a GREAT worker! I know that her gracious personality drew many people to our literacy program as volunteers. She leaves a great legacy to her family by her example of a life well-lived. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

I worked with Edie for a few years and found her to be a dedicated and enthusiastic part of our team. She was also just plain fun to be around. She will be missed by so many.

My sympathies and prayer for strength to the family members. Edith was a truly intelligent, kind and active person I had the privelege of working for while she nursed her ill husband. It was always a pleasure to speak with her during our brief passing at the local stores. She is greatly missed.

I am a new member of "Friends" and only new Edie a few months but she made me feel so welcome and was a pleasure to be around. My sympathy to the family on the loss of Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.
