I remember Edith's always cheerful and supportive presence when I began my career at Allegheny County CYS. I am sorry for your loss, but Edith's life was one well spent and fondly remembered by many. I hope your family finds some solace in that.

I was sadden in finding out today that one of the most instrumental people in my life has passed. Much of who I am today was developed through Edith. I am proud to have been trained by and to have worked with her at Allegheny Co. CYS. My sincere condolence to the family. May God Bless and keep you during this difficult time.

I carry great solace in my heart today as we say goodbye to the physical presence of Edith among us. I carry great privilege in having had her as a part of my life, my teaching, and my learning. I shall carry the memory of her presence with me as I go forth.
My sincerest wish to you both for peace in your loss and joy in the person she was. I regret I could not be there with you this day.
Edith and I worked together in the adoption department.
