Edith Wilson Obituary
Sun City - Edith Becker Wilson, 94, of Sun City, passed away August 28th, 2018. She is predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Rev. George S. Wilson. She is survived by their four children: A. Bruce Wilson and wife Rosemary of Ft. Worth, Texas, Dr Wendi Wilson Howard of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr D. Christopher Wilson and wife Nancy of Galveston, Texas, and Candace Wilson Smith and husband Richard of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a niece and nephew. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, she married George and after WWII they started a family. When her youngest child started school Edith went to college, earned a degree and taught high school English for 25 years. She travelled the country and the world. She loved to read and attend Shakespeare plays. In 1994 they moved to Sun City West, Arizona, and continued to enjoy their retirement. Rest in Peace, Mom, you will be missed. A family service will be held later. Contributions can be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
