Rev. Edith Walker Woodling

Chaplain Woodling was a dear family friend whom I first met in middle school at St. Martin´s in Atlanta. We were fortunate to have her officiate our wedding in Highlands four years ago-a moment that meant so much to us. She was always so kind to my entire family, and we will miss her deeply. I know she´s looking down on all of us with love and grace right now.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Edith´s late-stage diagnosis and swift passing...I was honored to share classes with her at Candler and touched by her wisdom, compassion, and gentle spirit.

My sincerest condolences to your family. I am very saddened to hear about Chaplain Woodling´s passing. She loved my children at St. Martin´s and I was lucky enough to receive her love and kindness, too. She was such a beautiful human. I will greatly miss her.

She had just started being Priest in charge at Saint Anthony's Church in Winder, Ga. Even though she was not there long we thought she was going to be the best Priest for our church and we all loved her very much and will miss her greatly. As a long and devoted friend of Edith's sister, Susan, I know how much family means to all who have felt this loss.
