Edmae LaMotte Delpit Butler

My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Edmae Butler. May God give you strength to bear your loss in this time of grief. For some reason she began to be in my thoughts at the beginning of the year. My heart is heavy with sorrow that I procrastinated and did not make that call to her that had been on my mind for months, even as recent as the weekend before she passed, and now it is too late!! I even called Joe and Precious about 2 months ago to ask about her but no one answered the phone. I should have followed up on that call. She was such a sweet person and will be greatly missed in spirit. Gone but not forgotten.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May the magnitude of Mimi's life, and its impact on the many whose lives she touched, continue to uplift you all. May God bless and uphold you.

Mrs Butler was my teacher at Glen Oaks way back in 1972-3. She was a sweet and classy lady. She deserved her 99 yrs. Sympathy to the family

We kept in touch after graduation and she inspired me to do my best. What a wonderful legacy she has left the world! Rest in eternal peace Mrs. Butler.
