Edmond Grimes Obituary
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Grimes passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009, in Jacksonville.
He was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Jacksonville to Coy Grimes and Anna Clyde Lindsey Grimes.
Mr. Grimes was a Baptist, a farmer and former employee of Gould Monument Works in Jacksonville.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Evelyn.
Survivors include son, Bobby Grimes of Kilgore; daughters, Patsy Grimes of Arlington and Kay Garrison and husband Mike of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Michelle, Shanna and Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Garrison; one niece, Nancy James and husband Rick; and numerous cousins including Mary Lee Blackmon.
There will be no visitation.
