I remember when Edmond and his singing/dancing family: The Sylvers had us "Groovin" to their 1970's funky beats. Watching them perform on TV shows like "Soul Train". The Sylvers once embraced our presence with a "Live Concert" at our very own "Marquette Pavillion" in Gary, IN I was 15 years old, and it was my very first Concert. Very handsome Boys and beautiful Sisters. Rest Peacefully "Edmond"

Me, like most of the fans of The Sylvers, could only see him on t.v. (from long distances). It's so good to read that he was a nice guy. I just recently started looking at some of the groups from days gone by. I had no idea of just how talented Edmund (and the entire family) was. If you can focus on his voice, it's absolutely out of this world amazing. I'm Gina, just someone from afar that is a fan. Jesus promises that there WILL BE a resurrection. As a child in the 1970's, I loved watching the Sylvers perform on TV. I extend deep sympathy to the family in the loss of one of their great singers-Edmund T. Sylvers.

Great voice and looks to match, a wonderful talent who came from a very entertaining family. Memories of several concerts (BLACK EXPO-1970's) and tv appearances on (SOUL TRAIN) still remain in my mind. The SYLVERS will always be considered the best family group of the 70's. ONE IS MISSED.....BLESSINGS
