News Death Notice
COCHRAN, Edna M. Age 86, of Hamilton passed away on July 12, 2015 at Mercy Fairfield. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Hamilton to Pearl and Nancy Childers. On October 25, 1945 she married James "Mason" Cochran Sr. he preceded her in death in 1990. Edna is survived by her devoted children, Charles (Darlene) Cochran and James (Susan) Cochran; numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friend and companion Millard Lakes and his family. A special thanks to the Lakes family for their love and support. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Brenda Little and Kay Parker; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation will be Friday July 17, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., 45014. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Price officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Fairfield ICU, 3000 Mack Rd., 45014. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com

Remembering Edna Mae always. Just a very strong and giving person. She taught me so much as a very young mother growing up. I use so much even today that she taught me. She will always be with me.

Edna Mae was a wonderful woman. She worked diligently throughout her life to help provide a comfortable home for her children as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren in the toughest of times. She made certain they did not want for anything, often ignoring her own needs. She will truly be missed.
