I met your mother at the memorial for George. She radiated a strength and sweetness that was apparent. David's entry about her tells it all.

I count your father as an important influence in determining my life's direction-he made mathematics into a living thing, and I became an engineer.I continue to hold him--and your mom--in my heart. You were lucky to have such parents.

What a beautiful testament to a life of contribution in the ways that matter most. I am touched and inspired by her dedication and ability to make such a difference to so many.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Your Mom sounds like a wonderful, enlightened, brilliant and loving person who clearly helped to make you the terrific and compassionate person you are today. Michael and I love you and your family and will always be here for you.

Thank you for keeping the stories and lessons of your parents alive for us. They both shared so much with the world.

Thanks Mom for carrying me that day at elementary school and for all the support you provided me during your lifetime. I never forgot that day and will always remember your arms supporting me and your strength and advice. I hope you and Dad are finally back together and enjoying each other once again. We sang some of your favorite songs at the memorial and it brought tears to our eyes. You were one of the most compassionate and caring people I ever met in my lifetime and I hope I can pass on some of your wisdom to my children. We all miss you very much and hope you are finally at peace. Give my love to Dad when you see him. I love you. Your #1 son - David
