Eric, I didn't realize that your mother's story was as interesting and compelling as your father's. I feel fortunate to have met them both. Max and I are so sorry for your loss, but feel certain that George and Edna's strength, drive and compassion will live on through your families.

David and Eric and family.
I met your mother at the memorial for George. She radiated a strength and sweetness that was apparent. David's entry about her tells it all.
I count your father as an important influence in determining my life's direction-he made mathematics into a living thing, and I became an engineer.I continue to hold him--and your mom--in my heart. You were lucky to have such parents.

Thanks Mom for carrying me that day at elementary school and for all the support you provided me during your lifetime. I never forgot that day and will always remember your arms supporting me and your strength and advice. I hope you and Dad are finally back together and enjoying each other once again. We sang some of your favorite songs at the memorial and it brought tears to our eyes. You were one of the most compassionate and caring people I ever met in my lifetime and I hope I can pass on some of your wisdom to my children. We all miss you very much and hope you are finally at peace. Give my love to Dad when you see him. I love you. Your #1 son - David
