Eduardo Haro

Eduardo "Ed" Haro, 69, passed away on July 27, 2025, in Oakland, California, just one day after celebrating his birthday. Born on July 26, 1956, in Oakland, and raised in San Jose. He lived mostly in the greater Los Angeles area yet, he remained deeply connected to his Northern California roots throughout his life.

A proud graduate of Pioneer High School in the Class of 1974, Ed went on to attend Santa Clara University. He built a distinguished career in fine jewelry sales and management that spanned over four decades. His professionalism and dedication earned him respect among colleagues and clients alike.

Ed was known for his unwavering positivity and warm spirit. A friend to everyone he met, he brought joy and laughter wherever he went. Whether sharing stories at family reunions or belting out tunes during karaoke nights, Ed's vibrant personality left a lasting impression.

He had a deep love for sports-especially baseball, football, and car racing-and could often be found cheering on his favorite teams. Road trips were another of his passions, offering him the chance to explore new places while spending quality time with those he loved.

Family was at the heart of Ed's life. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Irene Woods; Gloria Knapel and her husband Ron; Marlene Vik and her husband Bruce; and Adriana Orlando. He also leaves behind numerous nieces,nephews,cousins, aunts and uncle who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and joy.

Ed was preceded in death by his father Hilario L. Haro; mother Gloria Ofelia Haro; brothers Peter H. Haro and Edmundo Haro; and brother-in-law Pietro Orlando.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Patrick's Catholic Church 19399 CA-120, Ripon,Ca
