My deepest condolences to the Rendon family. I met Mr. “Lalo” Rendon when I was about 5 years old; this was 30 years ago. He and my father worked together for many years in the tug boats at the Port of Brownsville. There are only but good things to say about Mr. Rendon; he was a good man. May you rest in peace.

My father in law was the best father in law anyone could wish for. He was kind and very funny. I will miss him so much. From reading him the newspaper to talking politics, I enjoyed being around him. I will miss you, Lalo. Rest in peace. Your daughter in law, Esmeralda

Capt. Eddie Rendon was a GREAT man. He helped all those in need, and thought of everyone but himself. He loved his family very much, and did anything and everything to help each one of us out. He will truly be missed, we love you forever and may you now rest in peace, Welo.
Love forever and for always,
