Dear Jennie and family,
Ed has very high sartorial intelligence! I remember Ed from Cardinal Newman especially. A rare
educator-able to take and maintain
unpopular decisions which,in the long run ( for the most part) proved to be
sound and sane.

To the Baluch family:
I wish to express to you my most sincere condolences on the passing of a dear husband, father, and grandfather. I had the honor and privilege of having Ed, both as a teacher at Cardinal Newman High, and later as my principal while I taught at St. Pius X Comprehensive H.S...... some of my best years.
That ever-so-vivid image of him walking down the corridor at St. Pius early in the morning, with his cigar in hand, will always stay in my mind. At our first meeting I recounted to "Mister" Baluch that he had been my trig teacher at Newman, and he immediately responded that I was no longer a student, and that I should now address him as "Ed". Both as a teacher and an administrator, they didn't come much classier.
May you find comfort in the fact that his memory will forever live in your minds, and that he was respected and loved by so many people. May he rest in peace.

He was a very respecting and most understanding man who always took the time to listen to his students. The education system has lost a great man. He will always be remembered and never forgotten. Thank you Mr. Baluch for everything.
Godspeed Mr. Baluch.
