Ed was a great guy to work with, play golf with, and to just talk with... he always had a funny story to tell. I am honored to have known him. Sympathy and peace to the family.

I have many wonderful memories about my dad. He taught me and my sisters about the importance of love and family, about honesty and integrity and the importancce of an education. I have memories of living in Miami and dad taking us to the Polish American Club, to minor league baseball games,& to Randy's for steak dinners. Memories of Syruse include our favorite Saturday afternoon lunch of Columbus bakery bread, sharp cheder cheese, and black olives, (which continues to be my favorite lunch to this day.) Oh yea, lets not forget Hershey bars with almonds! Dad taught us a love for God, His polish heritage and for nature. I remember trips to Chitnago Falls, Old Forge, and of course Green Lakes State Park where we would look for deer at sunset. Dad taught me the important things in life like how to say "give me a beer" (dome pevo? I can't spell) in polish. He loved his family very much and his family loves him and misses him terribly. But I know in my heart that he is in heaven with God, playing golf, drinking beer, eating chocolate and is smiling down on us. At dad's reception, after his funeral, uncle Steve gave my son Jake a $20 bill. The serial number on it began with "ED" and ended with the initial "B". Ever hear of "pennies from Heaven"? Dad let us know he is thinking about us with "dollars from heaven"! I love you dad. Cathy

I only knew Ed for a short time (4yrs.) before he retired from Bristol. We golfed together a few times with Mike Reff, Tom Andrews, and Dick Goodhines. He was always willing to offer a tip or two to help your game and always a kind word. He will be missed.

Goodbye old friend. My sincere sympathy to Jadwiga, "the girls" and family. Ed was a man who gave of himself in so many ways. Someone I feel lucky to have known. There are many, many fond memories of lunch at Bristol, golf at Green Lakes, card games in Fayettville, after golf drinks at Hullers, etc. all shared with such a good friend and someone who loved life and all those close to him. We will all miss Ed.

Eddie,
Now you can play golf again and eat all the chocolate you want. Save a spot in your foursome for an old partner.
