Ed Barton was a wonderful teacher and role model for his students at Roosevelt High School. I also appreciated Ed for being present and speaking at my dad's funeral in October, 2000. (Merlin H Miller)
Ed's leadership at Young Life helped many students, including me, find Christ and learn what it meant to follow Him.
I will always be grateful for Ed's guidance and friendship.

Ed was a semi-frequent visitor to my work for a number of years. I shared several varieties of apricot with him and we had wonderful discussions about horticulture and plant breeding. He shared with me his Armenian peppers that have become an annual staple in my garden. He was a very kind and thoughtful man,- I am happy to have made his acquaintance. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was thinking about the family today. I lost my father Arthur Barton in 2020.
Carole, Jeanette, Suzanne, Amy and Ned, I don’t have words to express how sorry I am for this loss to you and to the entire Barton Family. Edward was the most extraordinary, loving man I have ever known. From a young age I always knew if I had a question, he would give me an honest and thoughtful answer. He definitely encouraged my love of science which I have to this day.
I miss you all and pray for peace for the family.
Love always,
Janet Barton Moroney.
