We are so grateful to have known Ed and Ethel Benedict during their last years in Kent, OH, and the years they resided in Summerfield, FL. The Benedicts were not only friends through Christian circles of fellowship, but also 18+-year prayerful and financial supporters of our missionary service among the international student communities of Kent State and NC State Universities. They were generous in their love, spirit, and finances, enabling us to reach and disciple international students for Christ. Though losing Ethel a few years earlier, in what would be our last phone conversation in late 2022, Ed said he would continue to invest in us for as long as he could. His investment has been great, and we believe his eternal reward will also be great. He and Ethel are again together, and now with their Lord and Savior. May God comfort and bless their surviving family members.

We are very thankful that we were able to know Ed and Ethel, and greatly enjoyed and appreciated them. Ed was my stepfather’s best friend, and we loved them all dearly. The service was beautiful- what a legacy he has in his family. May you all be blessed and I am thankful that we know one day we will see them all again.
