Edward G. Blyda

I enjoyed many hours chatting with Ed throughout my years on Spofford Lake. It was a privilege to know him, and to witness how proudly he wore Edna, Barbara and Ron. He greeted me like family, and I always looked forward to seeing him. Much like my own Dad, with whom he shared so many admirable qualities, I'll always enjoy remembering him fondly.

Your neighbors on Beauchamp Terrace are very saddened to hear of Ed's death. We have such fond memories of our neighbors, the Blydas.

Mr. Ed you will be missed dearly. I will miss your smile, sense of humor and when I made you laugh. It was a privilege to know and care for you. I loved you like my grandfather. My thoughts and prayers to Edna, Barbara, Ron, family and all caregivers.

Ed was a a very interesting and pleasant guy. I enjoyed every conversation and moment that I spent with him. Also, a gentleman par excellence!

It was an honor to have known and cared for Ed. Such a remarkable man.
