Father Ed, Your unending fight for the cause of working people, your unfailing faith, your enthusiastic joy and optimism in your daily life, your gift to all of us who knew and loved you. You will be missed. God has surely prepared a place for you in his house, and I bet it looks a little like the Labor Guild!

Father,
You were an inspiration to me. Your self-sacrifice, caring, intelligence, good humor, and integrity serve as an inspiration to me. You have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. You married my husband Brad and I twenty two years ago and predicted that our families would become as one. I believe you blessed our union and helped us build a wonderful marriage and family. Thank you for all that you have done; you will be missed, but never forgotten.

Dear Boyle Family: Fr. Ed was a amazing individual. He touched so many people in so many ways. For myself and family, we were blessed to have Fr. Ed in our lives from early childhood. He was a constant member at our family home for Sunday meals (of course, after Mass) I must tell you a story: My husband and I had our precana classes with Fr. Ed. We would end up at a restaurant have a wonderful meal then made sure he got home safely. Well, after a few glasses of incredible wine one night, we were driving down a one way the wrong way! What a shock on the police officers faces when they saw Fr. Ed in the front seat. We laughed all the way back to BC! He made my wedding special. We were fortunate to have him baptize my daughter who is now 17 years old. When I told him I was moving to North Carolina he said he was looking forward to visiting us. Now he is my angel. He always provided me the strength and positive reinforcement I needed to deal with my cancer treatment. I will miss him dearly. May you find comfort in the memories you have had with this incredible man. Lisa (Furnari) Miragliotta

Father Ed was at all the important moments in my life - and before. He married my parents, he celebrated Christmas Eve with us every year, and he helped ,my mother through her last days. I miss them both. I can't imagine a world without Father Ed, but I do know that it is a better place because of him

Father Ed,
May you rest in peace at the foot of our Lord. Your passion and compassion for all who worked in the Labor Movement, your family and your friends will never be forgotten. Our family will miss you dearly, the many weddings, births and deaths that you prayed over. You will always be remembered with laughs as well as tears. You are now in Heaven with the other members of our family who passed before you, and they are welcoming you with open arms. I will miss the religious calendar you sent out every New Year which brought us hope for the future. Godspeed and may you rest in peace.
Love,

In the past three years I have learned so much at the Labor Guild. None of which would have been possible with out the hard work of Father Boyle, the officers and the staff. Father Boyles passion to the cause of a fair and just work environment, was contagious. His energy enveloped you when he spoke about the subject matter. His pride and unwavering love for the Labor Guild is his legacy. God Bless You Father Edward F.Boyle May you Rest in peace.
