To the Charles Family, We are among many who have been privileged to know a local legend in Mr. Charles. His personality was like a ray of sunshine. All good memories!

To Bonnie and the entire family. Sorry to hear of Ed passing. He was a true gentleman in all aspects. We had many golfing trips and get togethers that brought out the par excellence in him. Our blessings go out to all of you.

To the family of Edward Charles,

Our deepest sympathy on the death of your father and grandfather.

We met Eddie at the Whitehall Manor where he joined my dad, Alex, every day for mealtime. He always had a wonderful smile and shared his stories with us about his days at the Allentown Fair and his love of his family and his community.

He always had a kind word for Dad and was very happy to share his congratulations on dad's 100th birthday.

He always said that I made him the best coffee because I put in 3 sugars and not just two at lunchtime.

Our prayers are with you and your family. May he rest in peace and may you be comforted in the days ahead with your memories of his very full life.

To The Charles family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known your father for many years since he and my father (Rodney Grammes) lived and breathed the Great Allentown Fair until their death. I am so sure my dad is waiting for Ed to come join him so they can plan the Greater Fair in heaven. God Bless all of you!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Bonnie and family. Your dad was part of a wonderful generation that went before us and made our growing up special. God bless them...we certainly were. I'm thankful that he saw 98 years while here. I'm sure you're glad too. Ed was a great person. I know that he made sure that my uncle Chinky got the message that when Ed was setting the date in 1984 for Lee Iococca to speak to a large group in Florida, that Lee first spoke of my father's unexpected passing on. I'll pray for your rapid healing and good memories...I'm sure there are many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you all.
