Edward B. Cogswell Jr.

Betty and Zane Smith have fond memories of Ted. We were enrolled in the University of Montana in the 1950's and in the Air Force ROTC program. We both went through US Air Force pilot training together, qualifying in B25's. Ted was a much cherished friend. We are sadden that he has passed. A wonderful person!

Dear Cogswell Family,

My prayers go out to you during this time of loss. Ted Jr. was a towering, positive influence for me in my formative years. He was like a second father to me,and my God Father. I will always treasure the memories of our outdoor adventures and trips to the YMCA on the weekends with all the boys.

I have attached a photo of him, along with my bald self and my son Alex at my dad's 80th.

While there Ted kept us entertained with a tale of mailing a cow pie to my dad who was a freshman at Yale. Apparently John hadn't replied to several letters and this was Ted's way of getting my dad to correspond on more regular basis.

Unfortunately I can't attend the service as I have a business commitment I can't get out of. My prayers will be with you all.

A deep bow to a man who made a difference in Great Falls. Ted left a lasting legacy of accomplishments that will benefit future generations.

Dear Ann and family, Jack and I send our condolences to you in your loss of Ted. He was a great asset to the community of Great Falls, and to the larger community. He was a friend and neighbor. We're sorry for his suffering in these past months and years, and pray for peace for you and all your family at this time.
