My deepest sympathy to the family.
I was at Dunton High with Ted and then we met up again at Ecole Ogilvie where he was the principal and I was the librarian. These were great years because Ted was so pleasant to work with. He was always in a good mood, he was honest and straightforward. Above all,he loved the kids.
I am so sorry that will not be around to enjoy his retirement.
God bless you all.

I remember the days when Ted was at Riverview School. He had a great personality and was liked by all. One of my fondest memories is of a Christmas play the teachers put on for the students. He was such a good sport and appeared on stage wearing a tutu.
Life can be so unfair taking people at such a young age, but Ted, you certainly left your mark.

It is with deep regret that I learned of Ted's passing, unfortunately too late to present my condolences in person. As a parent, I admired not only his dedication to his students, but his humour and his willingness to be "up front" with news both good and bad. As a parent rep and now as a Commissioner, I have had the opportunity to meet many educators, but Ted remained one of my favourites, as a principal and as a person.
My sincerest sympathies to the family on their loss.
