Our condenses to Ed's family and friends during this Celebration of Life. May our God have mercy on his soul and may he rest in Christ!

May this time of remembrance of Ed bring more of His people together in love, honor what is excellent. Ed was excellent to me. We bonded over motorcycle riding and military service. The small group increased over time. Our text thread would ring all day like a cow bell with all the chatter. We spent a good portion of the plandemic riding all over the back country. We did parades, Toys for Tots, Biker With Boxes for Operations Christmas Child. Ed would spearhead our efforts. He enjoyed being an example to the young kids that watched. Ed was a man's man with that tall statue.and a kind soul. Ed will be in my thoughts...

I was pleasantly surprised who came to the Celebration of Life at the Museum of the Waxhaws. The forecast called for thunderstorms. At 1p, the sun had shown through the clouds and no rain was allowed. We had a beautiful biker parade around town for Ed. Some folks we had not ridden with for a well were there. Ed touched so many. May we continue to ride an ride in Ed's honor.

Thank you to Ed's family for making all this possible; bring all the different groups together in such a peaceful place. I am grateful to the family for allowing us bikers to attend and to.particpate in the ceremony by having parade around town ride.

Our Love...

I live across the street from Ed. Of course we all knew when Ed was coming home , hearing his Harley coming into the cult de sac . My granddaughters are 15 and 12 now . When they were little, about 10 years ago and would visit me , it was always a treat when we heard Ed roll in . We'd run outside waving to him , he'd beep and flash his lights for them . Christmas lights on his bike were great !
Now , all these years later , when my great grandson visits me , and we here him coming down the road , we'd run outside and see Ed . Ed would stop and rev his bike and flash his lights . My grandson loved it and so did Ed ! He was a great neighbor.
When I hear a Harley coming down the road , I have to remind myself , it's not him . We sure do miss him ! R.I P . Ed

My husband met with Ed nearly every day. I always joked that when I wanted to get some housework done, I would send him to Ed. I would call Ed and laugh and tell him to "take one for the team" and he would laugh and say "send him on". He always had a hug and a willingness to help anyone. He spent Christmas Eve at our house and I promised him the next meal would be tater tots and gravy, his favorite . The tater tots are still in my freezer, I can´t bear to either cook them or throw them away. I was humbled to ride with him and for his Celebration of Life, I will be honored to ride for him. Ride that Harley on those streets of gold, Ed. When the thunder rolls, we´ll know you´re there. Pat Betts

Both of my Grandfathers passed when I was very young
So I did not get to do stuff with them. Mr. Ed kinda took their place. We did not go fishing, and things like that, but we shared the love of Motorcycles. He was the Kingpin of our group. I have the upmost respect for him. His service to our country first, but he was also my buddy. Our group rides he led were the best. I miss him terribly. I know he is in a better place, but the void he leaves behind, will never be replaced. This rips me apart. God speed Mr. Ed. I will always think of you, and I will always miss you. Brad Hartis
