Faith, Humility, Humanity, Honour, guided Ed. He gave me strength; and through his spirit of support, guidance, and morality, he inspired me to stand straighter, and to expect more of myself. He walked through life, and his footsteps left deep impressions of his life, filled with unconditional Love and Committment to his Family, and his Faithful pledge to help humanity. Dear Eddy, I am lost for words for not communicating with you over the years that we have been teenage close friends. You are in Heaven. Henry.

Ed was a business associate and friend of my father's (Nick Doiu). I met him on several occasions throughout my life and he was kind enough to give a surgical opinion to my wife on short notice. I always looked at him as one of the most interesting men in the world (like the commercial). My deepest condolences to his family.

We were very honoured to have finally met Edward a month ago. Our father, Karol Kolasa (91 years old from Sudbury)continually spoke of Edward as a wonderful neighbour. We were saddened
to learn about this sudden loss. His light will continue to shine in our hearts.

On the morning my Mother died I was there at the hospital with my (now) husband and Edward Grodecki. Mom( Barbara) had worked for decades as a nurse at his Bloor West practice. She loved him like a son and he held her other hand as she passed. Dr. "G" was a wonderful person - my deepest condolences to his family.....you are in my prayers.

My boss in our High Park office has referred clients to Ed for many years. He was a busy guy, enjoying his profession, being good at it and helping many. Such a tragic loss! Way too soon! Our office sends prayers to Ed's family, colleagues and friends. RIP Ed.

It is a sad time to hear of Dr. Grodecki' S passing..always a gentleman and a dedicated Doctor to his patients.
I had the privilege to work with him at Etobicoke General over the years he worked there. He had special patients who had many needs and that's who he was attracted to assist in this life.
I can say at the end of a long day in the OR he always turned to his anaesthetist and said 'Thank you' and exited with his goodbye.
Not often heard in our busy world.
He will be remembered as an honourable
man of integrity in the medical profession.

When I opened my office in High Park I was delighted to learn that he had an office on Bloor West. Our patients and I are very grateful for his kind and professional care all these years. Please accept our family's deepest condolences on your loss. Ed was a brother Knight, a fellow parishioner and a most generous person. At church, he stepped up more than once to assist our ushering team when someone was in medical distress during Mass. Ed's goodness was always in plain sight.
