When I was head of an independent school on the North Shore, we sometimes had situations with children where we needed more expertise. Ed was my go-to person -- a call to Ed was always returned promptly and Ed shared his expertise generously. In particular, on several occasions, he helped me direct families to community resources. I have a very warm spot in my heart for Ed, whose last name is very apt. Thank you, dear Ed -- for all the families at my school who you helped!

Dear Anita, Though I knew Ed on sight and not closely in person, I had a keen sense of his wonderful humanity. I know his loss is difficult and I wish you ease in your grief. Truly, Ellen Solomon

What a guy! What a privledge to be his friend. We adored him. We all made memories in gloucester mass laughing while enjoying his design and art tours of his home and having special meals at halibut point and enjoying art auctions at North shore art Assn. My family and gran kids adored his magic shows with Anita his brillant assistant. Anita and Ed were wonderful dancers and he won her heart . She brightened his days and was as brilliant and quick as him. We were blessed to be his friend Kathie and bruce fieldman
