Dear Suzanne,
Please know I am thinking of you and your family.
I don't think I ever drive down Old Freeport Road and pass the office when I don't think of Ed. I spent more than a few hours there.
Your Steve will always hold a special place in my heart. It took lots of courage I am sure for him to call me from St. Lawrence University to tell me he was concerned about my Joanne's health.
I saw Ann several years ago at a Golf Shop in Monroeville. She was delightful, so friendly and helpful.
Jeff, I never knew other than to recognize him as being one of your children.
Please know that I am thinking of you all and recognize the terrible void you are feeling at this time.
Sincerely,
Jean(Green)Houston

Suzanne,
I didn't get your message until this morning - I've been away. Ed was a favorite of ours - always upbeat and full of fun. We had some great trips together. I'm glad that he's at peace, and pray for you and the children. I know you'll miss him, as will we. Love to you all.

Dear Suzanne and family, I want to extend our sincere sympathy for your loss. Although our families have not crossed paths enough, we are indeed saddened to learn of Edward's passing. Our dad, Thomas Cuddeback, Jr., was Edward's cousin... and families share the pain of losing another valuable member of their iconic generation. Edward's and Thomas' mothers were sisters and we mourn the loss of such incredible family patriarchs. We feel your loss, and feel that those cousins shared so much. Please know that this part of your family is holding yours in our prayers. Sincere sympathy from: Judy Cuddeback Dixon, Karen Cuddeback Petrie and Tommy Cuddeback,III...(Maxine Murial Stewart Cuddeback's Grandchildren) from Pittsburgh,PA., - Deep Creek Lake, MD.,- and SanFrancisco, CA...respectively. God Bless and comfort you.

Suzanne,
After reading of your husband's passing in yesterday's paper, via email, I notified everyone from our class for whom I have addresses. I see Ron Reibie beat me to it but on behalf of all your WVHS classmates of '53, please accept our deepest sympathy and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We only hope you will be able to attend the 60th in Sept. My husband has Alzheimer's and I feel as though I have lost him now and will have to go through the final also.
Take care. Rosie Kindl Lawley and all of the class of '53.

Suzanne, It was with sorrow that we happened across Ed's obituary. But it was with much gladness every time any of us visited his office - he knew us all well, always asked about the kids and had stories to tell about his growing up in the area. Three and a half years ago John and I moved to Longwood at Oakmont where it seems half of Fox Chapel and O'Hara are living in retirement. Our sympathy to you and all your family. He was the first dentist my siblings and I ever had... and there was never any one better... I wish I had one of those little toys he used to give each of the kids...

Suzanne, With the upcoming WVHS class reunion just over the horizon, it didn't take long for the news of your loss to spread to the reunion committee. May the Good Lord Bless and keep you and the entire family, and give you Peace, that Peace that only He can give. Ron Reibie

Suzanne: I had no idea that Ed and you had moved up to Greenville, and I presume, The Woodlands. We moved in 2010 to a senior community in Hendersonville, NC. I fondly remember my days with Ed at Cougar Pointe. He and I had many enjoyable discussions, and I always repected what a fine gentleman he was. I am grateful our paths crossed, and I am very sorry to learn of his passing. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
