Julie
I just found this memorial that you placed here for Eddie. He was my only brother and my best friend and I miss him terribly. You and the girls were the most important thing in the world to him and I want to thank you for making his short time on this Earth the happiest it could have ever been. Call me if you need anything. I love you and tell the girls I love them. Thank you for remembering Eddie with this memorial.

I was shocked to hear of Ed's passing. He was a wonderful person and it was a pleasure to have known him. I pray that God will comfort you and the girls during this time. My thoughts are with you.

Julie,

I don't know if you remember me, but I had the privilege of working with Ed for a time at the plant and having dinner at your home. You and Ed were so hospitable. I liked Ed immediately and found him to be a very good and honorable man. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Eddie,

Although it has been many years since we have seen each other and our families, you have always held a special place in my heart. As you know, I've always placed your Mother (my Aunt Butonne) at the top of the "angel" list and over the years, have tried to stay in touch with you through her to learn the latest about you and your precious Julie, Katherine and Lindsey. The void left in your absence cannot be filled except for the love and memories you created while sharing yourself with others. You inherited the best of the best by having a "Jacks" Father with a heart of gold and a "one of a kind" sense of humor, plus a "Jaggers" Mother whom I know is an "angel on earth". In my eyes, you have always demonstrated the "Arkansas" spirit by being the best you could be to those who shared in your life, of which you should be very proud! My heart goes out to those who loved you most, because you could not finsh your stay here as we had hoped, and you will be sorely missed.

With Love,

Your Cousin,

Taylor Tillman

Hi Julie, I was so sad when I found out. I can't promise that it will get better, but I can promise that I will do all I can to make things better. I only knew him for two years, but I have some hilarious memories. I know that you have a lot of those too. Cherish them and share them. My hopes for an easier time.

Julie and girls,

I wish I had had the strength to say something at the service but I could not. If you need a driving teacher, a flat changer, a lawn mower, an oil changer, a pool cleaner, an antenna installer or adjuster, anything I am there because Ed would have done anything for anyone and we all owe him and all of you. Thank you for giving me the honor of bearing Ed for the last time (probably the first time as he carried me everytime that I can recall :-)).
