EDWARD T.
Age 90, of Butler, formerly Pleasant Hills, on March 24, 2018. Husband of Barbara Giles Kelly; father of E. Jeffrey (Linda) Kelly, Mary Beth Kelly, Nancy (Ron) Paterline and the late Judy Kelly; brother of the late John, George, Paul, Dan, Joe, Virginia "Ginny", Catherine, and Anne; grandfather of Heather (Nick) Sherman, Sean (Kathryn) Kelly, and Amy and Jake Paterline; great-grandfather of Hadley and Max Sherman. Ed Kelly was the last surviving member of nine children in the Kelly family. A proud graduate of the General Motors Institute, now Kettering University, he started out as a mechanic and became a longtime Chevrolet dealer. He was an avid pilot and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He could fix and build anything, demonstrated when he built his own retirement home in his 70s. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. in St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia. Arrangements by SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., Bakerstown.

Hoping this message finds its way to Mary Beth Kelly, Nancy Kelly, their mom Barb, and the entire Kelly family.
My apologies for this late message but I learned about this only this morning and that forces me to use this electronic means to communicate my personal sentiments. Sending my deepest sympathy on Ed's passing. I will always hold dear the times I spent in the Kelly home and knowing the entire beautiful Kelly family in Pleasant Hills all those years ago.

Nancy, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your father had such a lovely smile to go with his beautiful blue eyes. You took upon yourself the responsibility to lovingly care and meet his needs no matter how his physical and mental health declined. You were a good daughter through it all and God's blessings as promised in the Book of Sirach 3:2-6,12-14 for honoring and caring for your aged father will never be forgotten by God. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
