He had so many talents and a generous heart.

Condolences to all of Ed's family. When I was in RCMP HQ VIP I worked a number of visits with Ed and we remained in contact over the years. I spoke with him a few weeks before his passing. He liked our Force and was liked and respected by many in our Force. I will miss our conversations, RIP Ed.

Just received sad news US Secret Service agent Ed Lamb has passed away. Ed will be remembered for his liaison duties with the RCMP during times of US Presidential visits especially. Ed became a close friend to members in the NCR. Many fond memories. Rest In Peace Eddie. This was posted on Facebook and several responses follow. Several others commented on Ed's passing including one of his good friends Lloyd Hickman. Ed was well known and liked in the Ottawa region for his prowess in keeping USSS relations with the RCMP top notch.

To Ed and Matt and family, So sorry to learn of your Dad`a passing. Ed was a good friend back in the IC days. More than once he helped us out on projects around IC church and school . Ed`s knowledge on many subjects was amazing. Our prayers are with you. Dave & Cathy Milback family

Ed will be missed by his many friends and associates in Canada. He was a very trusted and respected U.S. Secret Service liaison officer for many years.

Ed has been my close friend and associate for over 30 years. The world will be different without you, Ed. You will be greatly missed.
