Ceres, California - Edward Lytle passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022. He was born March 24, 1938 in Turlock, California to Howard and Rozella Lytle. He graduated from Ceres High School where he excelled in sports, particularly football. In 1958 he married his high school sweetheart Jeanne Zamaroni and together they had two daughters, Kim and Sheri. Ed worked in the refrigeration business for several years but most of all he enjoyed his almond ranch on Grayson Road, where he and Jeanne lived for 63 years. Ed was a loving husband, father and "Poppy." Ed is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughters Kim (Rod) Webster and Sheri (Jeff) Hurst. His grandchildren Megan (Noah) Hulst, Wade (Emily) Hurst and Holly Hurst. His great-grandchildren Ella Rose Hulst, William, Benjamin, Evelyn, Olivia and Madeleine Hurst. In addition Ed leaves his sister Geraldine (Leonard) Brown, brothers Paul (Fran) Lytle, Gary (Nancy) Lytle, brother-in-law Vincent (Donna) Zamaroni, sister-in-law Toni Gardali, as well as many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Private services were held for Ed at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Ed's family would like to thank the staff at Valley Comfort for taking such good care of Ed in the final years of his life.
