Macfarlane, Edward Graham March 12, 1911 - December 19, 2006 Born in Auchtermuchty Scotland and died in Vancouver at the home of his son Grant, quietly and gently with family members holding his hands. He was a craftsman, a teacher, a writer, a would-be politician, an artist, a poet, an atheist and a humanist who wanted to change the world to be a better place. Predeceased in December 2003 by Geo his beloved wife of 66 years, he is survived by Grant (Sylvia) of Vancouver, Roy (Heather) in Scotland, Linda (Jim) in Scotland and Margaret (Willie) of Salt Spring Island, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His legacy will be remembered by family and friends in Canada, Scotland, England, the USA, Australia, Cayman Islands and Japan. He will be cremated and ashes returned to Scotland to be scattered at the same place he scattered Geo's ashes. There will be no funeral and no service. The family would like to thank Dr. John Sloan of Vancouver for his wonderful care and compassion in caring for Dad for the past 3 years. "One World, One Family, One Love"
