I want to express my deepest sympathy to Ed's family and friends. Ed was a true gentleman who I had the pleasure of working with for several years in the 70's. I'll always remember his professionalism and compassion along with his wit.

Dad,

I will always be grateful for all that you have done for me. No matter what I did, you always, without hesitation, supported me. You were without a doubt the world's nicest guy. Now that you have left this earth, the world is a much colder place, not just for me, but for all those who knew you and all those who did not. By far your greatest gift to me was the great outdoors. You encouraged me to take my skills to a higher level. You were understanding in my quest for learning about the wilderness. You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart every time I journey into the forest and my spirit will know that you are always watching over me.

With my deepest love,

Your son.
