The years pass quickly but the memories are still strong. The street we grew up on has naturally changed much since we were kids but the good times shared there will always be in my heart. Sending supportive thoughts today to your family. TG

Eddie..... looking at the photo, your resemblance to your dad and mom is apparent. I will always remember the good times, playing CYO baseball, the football Yellowjackets, walking to LIRR in HS and just the laughs. You were a really good guy. RIP

I miss you every day. I miss hearing your voice. Your sense of humor was hysterical and you always made me laugh. I miss you now and always, Love, Barbara

I must have played Eddie 1 on 1 in basketball over 100 times. Never kept records but I'd say Eddie won 60. We wrote a song together about a girl we both had a crush on and recorded it at Rye Beach. There was a record of that but that's been missing for 50 years. I'll miss my old buddy.

A great friend always ready with a smile and a laugh. The billiard king of the Blue Cottage, passionate Yankee fan, and a great sense of humor. Lots of fun to be around, especially Derby week. Our thoughts are with Faith and the family.

Eddie and Faith welcomed me and my daughter Eileen to the neighborhood 20 years ago. We were treated like family. Will miss our chats in the alley. The funeral celebration today was very beautiful-the readings the words from his girls and the music. So grateful that I was able to attend. It was very special.

Whether playing Frisbee at Lutheran HS or basketball at East Street Ed was game. He was genuine, thoughtful and welcoming and a party! We didn't keep in touch so well but always felt close. Glad to be have been his friend.

So many good times, so many fond memories - Eddie was just a great guy to be around - Louisville will never be the same without him. We will all miss him but be assured that Kelly is waiting to show Eddie all the ropes- and then some! My thoughts and prayers to you Faith, and all of the family.

I will remember playing catch, baseball or football, with Ed in the street in front of our homes, watching Giant games at the Hi-Way tavern, eating Dante's pizza and riding the 7:29 on the LIRR to high school. My sympathy to Mrs. Maraldo and John, Barbara and Eileen. Rest in Peace Eddie.

Eddie and I grew up across the street from one another in Hicksville, NY and attended the same grammar and high school. Eddie was a terrific guy who was smart, funny and a loyal friend. Eddie was a good baseball and football player in grammar school and was a star stickball, street hockey and touch football player on Smith Street. We shared good times and I remember him and his family fondly. May you rest in peace, Ed.

Eddie was a great guy with so many gifts and talents. We grew up on the same street in Hicksville and attended the same schools from kindergarten through HS. Eddie was a very bright guy and a strong baseball and football player...also excelled at stickball and touch football in our neighborhood games on Smith Street. Eddie will always be remembered as a really great, hardworking guy who was fun to be around and was very kind and loyal to friends and family. Rest in Peace, Eddie.
