MARCEAU, Edward "Babe" Suddenly on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 69 years of age. Son of the late Joseph and Angeline Marceau. Beloved husband of 47 years to Rose (nee Pitre). Loving father of Kathy Shanahan and husband Harold, Christine Campeau and husband Tony, Janice Brancheau and husband Robert, and David and wife Lee Ann. Dearest pepe of the monkey club Katelyn, Chelsea; Mackenzie, Olivia; Madison, Jack; Jaclyn and Mitchell. Cherished brother of Blanche Douey and her late husband Daniel. Brother-in-law of Gene Pitre and wife Betty, Frank Pitre and wife Sandy, Helen Cote and husband Robert, and Florence Mayrand and husband Ken. Predeceased by brother-in-law Larry and wife Linda Pitre. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Edward was a retiree of Ford Motor Co., member of the Fr. Nicholas Point Council #4375 Knights of Columbus, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261. Visiting Friday from 2-5 and 7-9p.m.at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh (519-735-2830) . Parish Prayers Friday at 3:00 p.m. KofC Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting will continue Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Ste. Anne Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will celebrate. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Edward may be made to the Scleroderma Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Edward Marceau in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. Dear Rosie and Family, What a shock to everyone. Sorry i cant make it .I tried to go yesterday but just couldn`t make it. My heart goes out to you .I`m sure you know your in my prayers. I was going to call but i knew you must of had enough phone calls. Take care of yourself .I`ll keep in touch .Babe will be missed by everyone ........Lots of love Carol

Please except my heartfelt condolences on Mr. Marceau. Unfortunately I don't believe i will be able to attend the funeral due to a crisis of my own please except my apologies for this. My Fondest memory is ham & cheese sandwiches on onion buns and rc cola. Lord knows he supplied the neigbourhood with a good lunch :) Their are so many fond memories of my childhood in your home. marble games card games and OMG The t.v room.If you left the tv room the channel was changed lololol Christine your family always made me feel so welcome in your home ...ty all for that! I will always treasure all of those memories. God speed Mr. Marceau you were truly a loving father, husband and neighbour its been my privledge to have known you.
