Mr. Mcabe worked at Helwick House and Lander House. I spent several years in both places, and my memories of him are very fond. He made a significant impact on many lives.

A day doesn't go by that I always chuckle when thinking of Jerry and Roger goofing off singing and dancing! Good times

My condolences to the entire McCabe family. Jerry was a great man, funny and always entertaining. Listening to Jerry's Greatest Hits on cassette tape is burned into my memory. I will miss seeing him on the annual Las Vegas trips. May the Lord Bless You

Too many memories to count. I will cherish the time I was able to spend with my Uncle Jerry..I will miss his voice, his humor, love and entertainment.

My Uncle will be missed, not only by me but countless others whose lives he touched. I have so many memories of being his oldest Nephew..."He did it...His way..."

To Carol I send my deepest sympathy. Jerry was a wonderful man and it was a privilege to know him. I will very much miss hearing his greeting of Hi, Smilely! every time he saw me.

I think of Jerry as the organizer. Every year he got all the brothers, cousins and inlaws together for superbowl weekend. They had a blast. 2019 was the last due to covid. To Jerry, family was everything.

You're presence will always be felt whenever I'm in the Rocky River Senior Center. Whether assisting with noontime lunches, general volunteering at center events, or participating in Senior Players shows, your genial nature and clever sense of humor always enlightened my day. To me you'll always be "Young at Heart".

In loving memory of a wonderful person. So many good times, traveling abroad, Las Vegas, locally golfing and get togethers. We will love you and miss you always. We wish to express our condolences to the entire McCabe family.

A man of presence, peace, purpose, and playfulness. Steadfast love for Carol and his family. A man of faith, serving, giving, caring. If Jerry was there, life was lightened by his easy humor and kind ways, his Joy within.

Jerry and Carol - great neighbors and friends. Introduced us to other dear friends in the neighborhood too (Dale and Julie)! With Jerry closer to God than ever, we are surely blessed with his prayers for use! We, in turn, wish and pray for comfort for Carol and Kellie and all the family.

I first met Ed (and Carol) at the RR Senior Center, where he would be very busy volunteering, along side his wife. He was a "gentle giant" of a man and our Center's loss is Heaven's gain.

I believe Mr. McCabe worked at Helwick House many years ago? I was there for 2 years, in the early 80's. Mr. McCabe was a good man. My condolences to his loved ones. May he rest with Jesus.

Dear Carol, I was sorry to read that your dear husband had died. I know he had been on the prayer list at St. Peter's Church in Lakewood. It sounds like he was a remarkable man. I know his death will leave a tremendous void in your life. May the love and support of your family and friends give you comfort and peace.
