Hi Dad,
I think the expression on our faces in this picture accurately portrays our relationship. You were getting ready to walk me down the aisle and you asked me "you're not in any hurry are you?", lol. I'll miss those phone calls when you answered the phone with "Bozo's Auto Garage". Even though our relationship had it's ups and downs, I've always loved you, and know that you loved me. I think you just liked annoying me, lol. I will always remember you telling Mom "thank you" for nearly every meal she cooked, always helping us with our cars, and you stealing my fishing pole because I was catching more fish than you at Twin Lakes! I know you are at peace now and not struggling anymore. Rest in peace Dad.
All my Love, Cheryl

Hello my name is Don Barnes. I met Wes at GKN Aerospace in 1999 he was my main engineer on nights. We both hit it off right away and became friends immediately having a lot in common not just work, but fishing is our first love. We would get together after work and fish all the time talk about everything like family he was not only a friend, but more like a father figure. One of his great lines I remember was " Don if you have a Big one (fish) on the line just hand me the rod" haha. That was his one rule on his boat. When I moved to Utah in 2003 we still stayed in touch him and his son John made trips to go fishing at my place and I would take trips down to fish with them and we stayed at each others homes like family. His wife Mary always took such good care of me and her Cooking is amazing. It´s been a 26yr friendship I will cherish as long as I live. He will be sorely missed by myself and my family and so many more.
Rest in peace my good friend,
Love you,
Don Barnes
