Edward L. "Fester" Moore
PEORIA - Edward "Fester" Duane Lamont Moore Sr., 22, of Peoria passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center at 11:21 a.m., surrounded by his family.
He was born September 24, 1994, in Peoria, IL, to Jiavanni Thomas and Tina Moore. They survive.
Edward loved to cook and spend time with his children, and family time was very important to him. He accepted Christ at a young age.
In addition to his parents, also surviving are two sons, Edward Jr. and Edward Jr. Moore, both of Peoria; two daughters, Serenity and Za'Nylah Moore, both of Peoria; five brothers, Jacobi Claudin and Siee Smith, both of Peoria, Braylon Moore of St. Louis, Dajuan Moore of Peoria and Khymari Thomas of Galesburg; two sisters, Shaniqua Eliim of Milwaukee and Ameiika Moore of Peoria; two grandmothers, Ethel (James Meeks) Pates and LaAngelia Mooreboth, both of Peoria; grandfathers, Robert Carr of Peoria and John Thomas of Chicago; and a host of other family members and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers and great-grandmother
Services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016, at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at 12 noon, with visitation commencing one hour prior. Pastor Deveraux Hubbard and Otha Boyd will officiate, with Pastor Cleveland Thomas as host Pastor. Interment will be in Swan Lake Cemetery.
