Dr. Edward Okun

I knew Ed because my cousin Barbara was married to him. He was such a kind and compassionate person and although I haven't seen him for many years I will miss him.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Eddy, Armory Street School though Classical High School.
Later I visited him in Saint Louis when he was a young eye doctor.
And much later when we were both retired my wife, Estelle, and I visited him and Barbara in New Mexico.
A wonderful man.

And he was a truly nice person. His gallery was more than just a gallery, it was a place for people to share ideas. He created community and embraced passion for the arts. So sorry to hear of his passing.
