I had visited with Ed and Ellen a few years back and they were still the same gracious friends I knew when they were neighbors on Park St and Hillcrest Dr. Ed was a true mentor, always talking to me as an adult and steering me in the right direction. He was a great guy and will be missed, My condolences to Ellen and the family

Where do I begin. We met Ed and Ellen years ago as parents of Gynnell. We fell in love instantly. Such great people. Ed shared his love of wine making and made a couple batches for me and so Jammin' Jans wine came to life until such a time when he couldn't produce it anymore (He gave it the name by the way). I loved to visit at lunchtime when Ed found out I had a love for chicken livers and he did such a great job with them on the grill. I absolutely loved to visit as the stories were classic! You will be sorely missed my friend. Rest in peace. A great inspiration to all! Hugs to the family. I'll be up soon to visit with y'all. Love Jan and John
