Edward PAWLOVICH Obituary

Published by Edmonton Journal from Sep. 13 to Sep. 14, 2013.
PAWLOVICH, Edward
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Edward Pawlovich, who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 75 years.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Martin; and sisters: Elsie Pawlovich and Irene Kozicky. He was predeceased by his father, George; mother, Pearl; and step- father, Fred Allain.
After retiring from AGT (Telus), Ed kept busy with many projects and always had a helping hand to lend to his neighbours. He loved to line dance and attend the country dances held throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. His garden and yard were his pride and joy.
He will be sadly missed by all his friends; especially by his dog, Askim.
A special thank you goes out to the AHS Homecare Team as well as the staff of Unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Notification of a Celebration of Ed's Life will follow at a later date.

It would be hard to find a better neighbour than Ed. When we were thinking of buying our home, the previous owner listed him as one of the reasons why we ought to buy. We are grateful for all the help and advice he gave us when we did projects in the house and the yard. We are grateful for the way in which he cleaned up Dawson Park every time he walked there. But mostly, we are grateful for the time he spent chatting with us on our veranda. He called it porch time. It was one of the true delights of living across the street.
Sharon, we are so sorry for your loss.
