Edward PLANTE

PLANTE, Edward George On July 25, 2003, Edward "Ed" George Plante of Edmonton passed away at the age of 71 years after a battle with cancer. Ed is survived by his loving wife Maria, daughters Cindy (Pat) Jenkins, Mississauga, Sharon Plante, Edmonton, grandson James Jenkins, Mississauga, sister-in-law Tina Politis, Edmonton, nephew Thanos Politis, Seattle, sisters: Dorothy Plante, Regina, Sr. Monica Plante, St. John NB; brothers: Lawrence (Anne) Medicine Hat, AB, Ken Plante, Regina, SK, Vic Plante (Doreen), Stoughton, SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his parents Bertha and Henry Plante of Regina. During his life Ed worked in many locations in Saskatchewan, BC and Alberta with the latter years being spent at Fort McMurray and Red Deer while maintaining his home in Edmonton. Ed attended Campion College, University of Saskatchewan, University of Alberta. Reverend Joseph Doucet, CSC will celebrate a Memorial Mass at Good Shepherd Church, (18407 - 60th Avenue) Edmonton on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation.
