Edward Ruppert Obituary
Edward was a member of the McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose and The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Aerie #1406, Hanover, PA. He was a Civil War aficionado, and an avid bass player in numerous local bands. Edward loved going to Ocean Pines and could be found relaxing on his pontoon boat. He coached many different sports teams that his children played on. Edward had a special love of animals and cherished all his pets.
Surviving are his wife Tina; son, Joshua L. Ruppert and fiancée Jennifer Adair, of Taneytown; daughter, Jennifer Ciostek and husband Timothy of Phoenixville, PA; grandchildren, Colton, Camden, Makayla, and Ellie. Edward was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Dolores and a son, Edward Aaron Ruppert.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024, 5-7pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Barts-Centenary United Methodist Cemetery in Littlestown, PA.

We were friends and played in a band together. He was a wild guy in his youth. My sincere condolences go out to Tina and the kids.

I grew up with Eddie in Taneytown. We had a lot of adventures together. No one could drive John Shirk Road like Eddie. I´m sorry to hear of his passing.
