Edward Saconas Obituary
Ed graduated from Galveston's Kirwin High School as Valedictorian in 1956, from St. Mary's University on a full scholarship with Highest Honors and from University of Houston Law School with Honors, having passed the Bar exam eight months prior to graduation in
1965.
Ed, his mom and his dad developed Bayou Vista and later Omega Bay, two vibrant waterfront communities that remain a testament to his foresight and dedication. Ed was known for his intellect, dry wit and generous nature.
His parents predeceased him. He is survived by companion Joanna Meinecke and bonus family Kelly and Scott Vernon and their extended family. Other survivors include his Aunt Eddie Tamburine, age 98, several cousins and Carla Walker, his devoted office manager for 38 years.
